**!!** HAND WASH only as I believe this might be a wool blend. I've seen similar blankets shred in the washing machine. Avoid hot water. Do not put in the dryer. However if you choose to machine wash:
Turn wool inside-out.
Wash on the delicate cycle (or wool cycle or hand wash cycle, if your washer features these settings).
Use cold water and a mild liquid detergent like Woolite.
Add an extra rinse to the wash cycle.
Don't put wool clothing in the dryer.
